Wow Wall celebrates wonderful work

Wonderful work by children in the Junior Years is the focus of a brand-new initiative.

Wow Wall celebrates wonderful work

Each month, inspiring pieces of work from every class from L1 to L7 are being brought together to go on display on the Wow Wall, with the pupils whose endeavours have been selected then invited to join a special snack time where the collection is unveiled, and the work discussed.

The aim of the showcase is to celebrate examples of creativity, hard work and knowledge and understanding, with each class teacher selecting and submitting a piece of work that has particularly impressed them.

Deputy Rector Julie Rose, said, “The creation of our Junior Years Wow Wall is proving an excellent way to motivate and inspire our children.

“Having their work framed and on display in my office is something they are aspiring to and enjoying being part of. The work is also shared at our Rainbow Round Up (virtual assembly) so the whole school can be impressed by the work chosen each month.

“During the celebration snack time when the children view their work, they love to comment about the other work on display and share positive feedback with each other. Coming to the Head Teacher’s office is a real positive experience!"
