Co-curricular clubs

Clubs

A huge number of co-curricular clubs and societies are in place to introduce pupils to a range of new activities and experiences, and to allow them to build upon passions and talents which they already have.

Our aim is to give our pupils the chance to develop new skills and interests so that they can achieve what they are truly capable of.

A full range of sporting, musical and drama activities are offered, along with clubs and societies ranging from technology, papercraft, Stop Motion animation and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in the Senior Years, to gardening, construction and video news bulletin production in the Junior Years. Numerous opportunities to get involved in charitable work are also in place right across the School.

Pupils throughout the Junior and Senior Years are encouraged to make the most of this fantastic opportunity.

In the Junior Years, involvement will bolster the child’s confidence, improve his or her skills in team work, and instil a sense of personal responsibility and respect for others, whilst encouraging a sense of enjoyment within the learning environment. In the Senior Years meanwhile, co-curricular activities are not just a vital part of the development process; they add depth and value to every pupil’s CV, and stand each individual in good stead as they progress to university and beyond. And for all, co-curricular activities play a vital role in the development of our pupils as well-rounded, confident individuals.
