In June, green-fingered pupils in – at the time - L1, were given the opportunity to plant up some seed potatoes in the Junior Years Courtyard Garden.

With a helping hand from the Scottish summer’s reliable mix of rain and a bit of sun, much to the children’s delight the crops were ready for picking last week.

Having completed their harvest, the children then made their way to the Health & Food Technology Department to enthusiastically embrace the task of preparing some delicious potato salads.

From planting, to picking and preparing – a perfect potato project!
