Maths team through to UK final

A team of talented mathematicians from the High School of Dundee are through to the final of a major UK competition.
Edward Appleton, Cosmo Bobak, Ethan McColgan and Steven Chen now have the grand final of the UKMT Senior Team Maths Challenge to add to their calendar, courtesy of a 1st place finish in the Regional final which took place at Robert Gordon’s College.
The quartet will now pit their wits against school teams from across the UK in a series of challenging maths-based problems for the right to be crowned the overall champions in London early next year.
