L1 Transported Back in Time!

One of the first vehicles the children saw was one of the original three cars used in the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and the very lucky pupils each had a turn sitting inside it!

The pupils also enjoyed stepping inside an old Dundee bus and a fire engine, as well as looking at an old garage scene and models of ships, before returning to today’s world with a look at an electric, self-driving Range Rover!

The inquisitive children picked tour guide Kenny’s brains with all kinds of questions, like: ‘How did people get onto a penny farthing bike?’

L1 teacher Gillian Johnson said, “It was great to be able to go on a school trip again and to see the children so happy and engaged.”
