Junior Years team net runners-up spot

After winning all three of their group stage matches in the Dundee District Primary Schools’ Netball Association Winter League, the girls qualified for the championship final at Ward Road Gym.

There they met Eastern, and although they lost out in a hard-fought encounter, the squad members should be very proud of their efforts according to Junior Years teacher and coach Kirstin Reith.

She said, “This was the team’s first tournament so to take the runners-up spot was a terrific achievement and a great reward for all the hard work which the girls put in.”
