Hockey players selected for national development series

Well done to Sophia, Niamh, Emily, Erin and Georgia who have earned places in the Dundee Emerging squad for the Scottish Hockey Brave Academy, and to Alex and Maya, who are in the Dundee Aspiring squad.

The Brave Academy aims to provide additional support to emerging and aspiring young players to help them develop the tools and skills they need to bridge the gap between domestic and international hockey.

The Academy is regionalised, with centres in Dundee, Glasgow and Edinburgh, and as well as taking part in training and competitive opportunities on the pitch, the girls will benefit from off-pitch support in areas such as nutrition & hydration, sports psychology, and strength & conditioning.
