Here be dragons…

A truly legendary time was had by pupils in L5 who recently took part in Dragon Day!

The pupils donned their best dragon-related garb and got stuck into a range of activities in celebration of the mythical beast.

Dragon-related crafts included making dragon eyes and masks, dragon lanterns, dragon models and a huge paper dragon sculpture! The children also tried their hand at dragon racing using origami dragons which they had made.

The pupils even had the chance to sprout their own wings by posing for ‘dragon selfies’!

After all the crafting, our young dragons were quite hungry, and the fun continued into the Health and Food Technology department where the children made chocolate dragon nests.

L5 teacher Emma Morenikeji said, “The children had an amazing day, and they especially loved flying their dragons and having their picture taken in front of the dragon wings that we made!”
