Haoqi excels in elite maths contest!

Congratulations to HSD pupil Haoqi Liu, who has achieved an outstanding result in a prestigious maths contest.
In the UKMT (UK Mathematics Trust) Junior Olympiad, Haoqi scored 61 out of a possible 70, almost doubling the threshold – 36 points – required for a distinction!
His score of 51 in Section B of the paper has earned the F1 pupil a Gold medal (and a book prize), and means he was in the top 40 of the 1,200 pupils that sat the Olympiad!
The Olympiad contest is open to the top performing pupils in the UKMT’s Junior competition.
