Do Your Bit With HSD Big Litter Pick

HSD’s Big Litter Pick is challenging Nursery and Senior School families, as well as staff, to pick one bag of litter each in an effort to help keep our beautiful country clean and safe for wildlife.

The inspiration for the initiative came from children in the Nursery, who, while learning about looking after the planet, spotted some litter blowing into the garden. Eager to help the birds, the youngsters rolled up their sleeves and got to work removing it.    

The Big Litter Pick will run for four weeks, ending on 17th May when the number of bags will be totalled to see how much litter we have removed as a school community.
