Upon leaving the High School of Dundee, Neil went on to study law at the University of St.Andrews and obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from Queen’s College Dundee, which at that time formed part of the University of St.Andrews and went on to become the University of Dundee.
Neil spent all of his life in Dundee, working here as a solicitor and was a Partner at the well-known local firm Blackadders. Neil is survived by his wife, Jean.
