Calum Rankin

President Of The Old Boys' Club

I left the school in 2001 with memories, friendships, and a
foundation that has shaped everything I’ve done since. From here I went on to study for a BA at the University of Dundee, before building a career in sales and marketing that has taken me to my current role as Brand Director at Arnold Clark.

The school has never really left my life, if I’m honest. My wife Carol — also a former pupil — and I now have three children here ourselves, which makes being part of this community feel very full circle. Seeing the school through their eyes has reminded me just how special a place this is.

Being elected President of the Old Boys’ Association is something I’m genuinely proud of. My ambition is straightforward: I want alumni at every stage of life — whether you left last summer or thirty years ago — to feel that this network is active, relevant, and worth being part of.

I’m looking forward to building a richer calendar of events across the year, creating more opportunities for us to connect, support one another, and give something back to the school that gave us so much.

If you’re not yet involved, I’d love to change that. Get in
touch — the door is open.
