Former pupil Kenneth Pritchard OBE has died in Edinburgh at the age of 91.
Born into a legal family, Kenneth moved from London to Newport on Tay, then Dundee where he attended the school, was an integral part of the Boys’ Literacy Society and enjoyed rugby, later returning to play for the DHS FP club.
He moved to Fettes to complete his schooling before studying law at St Andrews University (graduating in 1954). Kenneth was admitted as a solicitor in 1955, became a long-serving secretary of Law Society of Scotland and Honorary Member of the Society in 1997. He is survived by his wife Gretta (nee Gretta Murray), sons Ken, Gavin and daughter Katharine who are also all former pupils of High School of Dundee.
