Congratulations to all of our pupils who have today been receiving their QS (Qualifications Scotland) exam results.
We are immensely proud of every one of our candidates and commend them, and their fantastic teachers, for all their hard work and dedication which has been rewarded with an impressive set of results.
– At National 5, the pass rate was 96.6%, with 76.8% A grades
– At Higher level, our pupils achieved a pass rate of 91.3%, with 49.6% A grades
– At Advanced Higher level, the pass rate was 90.6%, with 44.4% A grades

Highlights in this year’s results include our highest ever A pass rate for National 5, and, at Higher level, the best Band 1 rate in recent times.
Huge congratulations also go to our 2026 UCAS applicants – even before the results, every one of them had secured at least one offer of a university place, with 75% of candidates having unconditional (either first choice or insurance) places going into Results Day.
From Art History, Biochemistry, Computing Science and Engineering, to Film & TV Studies, Law, Medicine and Psychology, our leavers are off to pursue a wide range of exciting futures, shaped by their individual interests and ambitions.
A wonderful reflection not only of their hard work, but also the extensive, bespoke support and guidance of our dedicated staff. We wish all our leavers the very best as they begin the next exciting phases of their lives.
