F2 pupils embrace tasty business challenge with Fisher & Donaldson

F2 pupils enjoyed getting stuck into a tasty business challenge with Fisher and Donaldson.

As part of their Enterprise course, the students designed and pitched some deliciously good plans aimed at celebrating and promoting the bakery’s Chocolate Season.

The challenge offered a brilliant opportunity for the participants to perfect key ingredients including developing new product ideas, social media campaigns, advertising materials and event management.

The budding marketeers presented their impressive ideas to Fisher and Donaldson directors Jade Milne and Chloe Milne, alongside Miss McGookin from the Business Education Department.

Business Education teacher Alison Campbell organised the event. She said, “This challange is such a fantastic opportunity to be creative and build on the pitching skills the pupils develop in the F1 course.

“Our partners from Fisher and Donaldson have been fantastic in inspiring our pupils to be creative, and what better context for the challenge than chocolate!”

Huge thanks to Fisher & Donaldson for giving their time so generously to allow the pupils to work on a real world business challenge.
