Pupils get an exciting taste of product creation

Jannettas design a gelato competition
Pupils at the High School of Dundee are getting an exciting taste of product creation!

The School has just launched its Jannettas Gelateria Design-a-Gelato Competition, challenging the F1 year group to create brand-new flavours of ice-cream for the business!

Ross and Lewis Hazel, the new Managing Directors and the fifth generation to run Jannettas, kicked off the event with an inspiring presentation.

The pupils learned what Jannettas looks for in a new flavour and, working in groups, they will now pitch their ideas with the best ones advancing to the final.

Along the way the youngsters will develop and enhance key skills like presenting, teamwork, creativity and research, applying them in a real world business environment.

A special thank you to Ross and Lewis for staying on after their presentation to answer questions and support our pupils as they develop their delicious ideas.

Stay tuned for updates and may the best flavour win!
