Our F1 (S1) pupils enjoyed a fun-filled day of exhilaration in St Andrews.
As part of our start-of-session transition programme, the whole year-group headed out for a day packed with adventure and teamwork.
The pupils enjoyed kayaking and giant Stand Up Paddle Boarding with Blown Away, took part in a Scavenger Hunt around the town, had a picnic lunch and got involved in a range of team-building activities led by our PCS staff.
Working in their PSHE groups alongside their PCS teachers, the day was all about building friendships, making connections and helping pupils feel part of their new year group. Bringing together pupils who have joined the School in F1 and our returning L7 pupils as they begin this next stage of their journey, it provided a brilliant opportunity for new experiences and the chance to get to know one another better.
The friendships and positive relationships developed throughout the event will provide a strong foundation as we look ahead to further key F1 transition events like our Settling In interviews and New Pupil Parents’ Evening.
