Senior pupils share learnings on peer support and violence prevention

Well done to our senior pupils who are ready to share their expertise on some important issues.

19 of our Form 5 (S5) Wellbeing Prefects have completed a 6-week Peer Supporter training programme with local charity Feeling Strong.

Next half-term they will be using their new skills to run support sessions for our younger pupils in the PCS (Pastoral Care and Support) Hub as well as planning some fun activities for the upcoming Anti-bullying Week.

Well done also to 23 of our Form 6 pupils who are now trained as Mentors in Violence Prevention and will be delivering important lessons on Gender-Based Violence & Misogyny to our Form 2 PSHE classes.

Wonderful to see our pupils learning and sharing important lessons on some very important subjects.
