Senior Years pupils at the High School of Dundee are getting ready to make a bumper donation to Dundee and Angus Foodbank!
Over 1000 items, including tins, jars, toiletries and other household goods, have been brought in by pupils and will now be handed over to the charity.
The collection, which was part of the Senior Years House registration activities, was organised by the F5 House Prefects who were keen to create an event that would be beneficial to the community as well as being active and involving the rest of the Senior Years. The activity also saw registration classes create themed house displays to earn house points.
Lucy Jack, Principal Teacher of Pastoral Care and Support, said: “It was lovely to see the generosity of the school community with the incredible range of donations that were brought in.
“The F5 House prefects have helped organise and run a series of short House events involving the whole of SY throughout this year, with the aim being to have fun and build House bonds. This event was particularly enjoyable due to the wider impact it will have.”
