The Nursery - now with Early Years funding

The High School of Dundee NurseryThe High School of Dundee is delighted to be able to offer a vibrant, welcoming and stimulating nursery education for 3-5 year olds, which is designed to get your child's future off to the best possible start.

Open to all, our purpose-built £1m Nursery is located alongside the school's extensive indoor and outdoor sports facilities at our Mayfield Campus, on Arbroath Road in Dundee. A range of flexible sessions are available on an all year round or term-time only basis and Early Years funding towards places is available from Dundee City Council.

Led by an experienced Primary Teacher, our overriding aim is to encourage each child to be confident and caring, with a true love of learning. Moreover, the Nursery provides a fun and friendly learning environment which prepares the children for the crucial transition to primary years education, regardless of which school your child goes on to.

The Rector of the High School of Dundee, Dr John Halliday, says, "We aspire to provide an environment that is second to none and which ensures that 'our' children develop and grow at our fabulous facility."

In its first official inspection visit by the Care Inspectorate, the Nursery received a ringing endorsement with gradings of 'very good' for each area under review.
