L6 and L7 pupils at HSD were delighted to host a visit from author MG Leonard, who stopped by to tell us all about Feather – the newest instalment in her Twitchers series!
The author, who writes mystery and adventure books for children, explained the inspiration behind her birdwatching-based series and how she got into writing.
She also told our youngsters all about her creative process and how she turns an idea into a fully fledged story.
At the end of her talk, she took questions from the Junior Years pupils and signed copies of her newest book!
