Huge congratulations to HSD pupil Haoqi who has been rewarded for a magnificent achievement in the UKMT Junior Mathematical Olympiad!
Haoqi scored a remarkable 61 out of 70 in the competition, which is open to the top 1,200 performing pupils in the UK-wide Junior Mathematical Challenge.
That placed the F2 pupil in the top 40 participants in the Olympiad, earning him a gold medal which his Maths teacher Dr Smith was delighted to present him with.
Congratulations also go to Xin Le Chen, who also qualified to take part in the Olympiad.
