School welcomes Canmore Trust to talk to pupils

We were very pleased to welcome John Gibson from The Canmore Trust into school today to talk to our F5 (S5) pupils.
The charity has been featured on the BBC website recently for its brilliant work to raise suicide awareness and prevention with schools, colleges and universities and this was John’s fourth visit to HSD to speak to our community, following talks this session with staff, parents and F6 pupils.
Thank you John – hugely important work opening up conversations about mental health and suicide in our young people.
