Thank You To Our Playground Pals!

The end of the first term seems like the perfect time to say a big thank you to our Playground Pals who do a fantastic job helping our younger children here at the High School of Dundee!

Every day, these pupil volunteers can be found in the playground, playing games with younger pupils, buddying children in L1 and L2, and just generally keeping a friendly eye out.

This year we have 28 L7 pupils who have completed training on how to run activities and manage any playground problems, and as you can see, they are a very popular presence at breaks and lunchtimes!

L7C teacher Lesley Coupar said, “Our L7 pupils are always keen to become Playground Pals. It’s a great opportunity for our oldest JY pupils to support and make friendships with our youngest.”
