Early Years Nativity Brings Children Of The World Together

Early Years Nativity Brings Children Of The World Together. Pupils acting and doing plays on stage .

Christmas celebrations across the globe have taken centre stage in this year’s HSD Early Years Nativity!

Pupils in L1-L3 have just finished performing their fantastic festive show, ‘Children of the World’.

The production, by Mary Green and Julie Stanley for Out of the Ark Music, gave family members and fellow pupils front row seats for a magical journey as Gabriel and his fellow angels brought together children from across the world to visit the manger.

Traveling to the stable from China, USA, Ireland, Poland and Australia, each group told of their special own Christmas customs, presenting gifts and entertaining the audience with super-catchy seasonal songs!

Deputy Head (L1-L3) Claire Proudfoot said of the production, in which every child in the year groups has played a part: “Pupils in the Early Years have had a wonderful experience performing on the stage this week.

“They have been amazing and I hope the HSD Early Years Nativity is a moment in time that they will remember for years to come.”

Money raised through a collection at this year’s performances will be donated to the Archie Foundation.

Early Years parents can see more photos, and videos of the performances, on Firefly.
