Our Form 1 Chemistry pupils just wrapped up the summer term with an exciting Forensic Chemistry course—and it ended with a bang!  Â
Over the past few weeks the pupils have transformed into junior forensic scientists, learning how to analyse unknown substances, test using various chemical reactions, and interpret their lab results. Â
Their mission? Solve a mock murder mystery using real analytical lab techniques! Â
From poison pen ink chromatography to suspicious substance flame tests, they pieced together the evidence, examined suspects, and finally identified the culprit through their scientific deduction. Â
This real-world lab experience not only brought chemistry to life but sparked their curiosity, promoted teamwork, and piqued their critical thinking. Â
The lab was buzzing with excitement, and the truth has been revealed: Forensic science learning is awesome! Â
Future chemists, detectives, and problem-solvers in the making! Â
