Hockey Clubs

HockeyThe High School of Dundee runs regular hockey sessions for pupils in L6 upwards.

Both boys and girls have the opportunity to play hockey, with regular training sessions running after school most nights of the week, catering for a variety of age groups.  The main focus of these sessions is to develop skills and fitness to allow pupils the play the game, as well as improving their tactical awareness.  The School plays fixtures most weekends against a wide range of different schools, such as Madras, George Heriot’s and Strathallan, as well as competing in District and National Cup competitions.

In addition to this, pupils have the opportunity to participate in annual House Matches at various levels, not to mention the fun Christmas and Easter Internal Games.

The hockey squads of all ages have had a successful start to the session, and hope to build on this during the rest of the year.
