Our overriding aim is to encourage each child to be confident and caring, and to develop a true love of learning. Moreover, the Nursery provides a fun and friendly learning environment which prepares the children for the crucial transition to primary years education, regardless of which school your child goes on to.

Mrs Sarah Tosh, High School of Dundee Nursery Manager, and an experienced Primary Teacher, says, “A young child's brain develops more rapidly up to the age of 5 than it ever will again. It is therefore vitally important that care and education in those early years is of the highest standard.

"Our nursery space, both indoors and out, provides the very best play-based learning opportunities for each child whilst at the same time being nurturing, comfortable, safe and fun. Children at the Nursery learn across a broad curriculum with staff gently extending that learning at every opportunity through play and fun activities. The children will see this as simply playing and having fun. But they are working to develop the skills which will support their future learning without even realising it."
