Applying for a place at the Nursery

Our friendly and inspiring Nursery is open to all! We're open all summer and applications for August 2018 starts can still be made during the holidays.

If you would like to request a Prospectus and Application Pack, please email Alex McGrory at nursery@highschoolofdundee.org.uk or call 01382 202921.

You can also apply for a place at the Nursery for your child by downloading and completing the Application Form and then returning it to:
Alex McGrory, Head of Admissions, High School of Dundee, Euclid Crescent, Dundee DD1 1HU.
Applications cannot be made electronically, as a signature is required.

As our Nursery has partnership provider status with Dundee City Council, funding towards your child's place may be available. A variety of sessions are available and fees vary according to whether the place is full-time or term-time only. See full details of Sessions and Rates.

What happens next?

Once an application for entry to our Nursery has been submitted, you will receive written confirmation of the application.

Around 6-8 weeks before your chosen start date, you and your child will be invited in to meet Mrs Sarah Tosh, our Nursery Manager. At this time you will have the opportunity to discuss your child's development and interests. Our ability to meet your child's needs will also be discussed. There will be the opportunity to arrange any additional settling in visits you feel your child may need.

An offer of a place will be sent by letter. Acceptance of the place should be returned within the time stipulated in the letter.

We will then look forward to welcoming your child to nursery on your chosen start date. 'Start days' are at the beginning of term in August, October, January and April. However, following your child's third birthday, an earlier start date may be possible in some cases and you will be able to discuss this with Mrs Tosh.
