We were delighted to be able to give children in the Early Years the chance to take part in a traditional and very special Christmas event this year.

High School of Dundee Nativity

In the absence of the usual audiences of parents, family friends and fellow pupils, children in L1-3 took to the stage of Trinity Hall to act out the Nativity scene in their individual classes.

The performances were filmed and have today been shared with Junior Years pupils and parents on Firefly.

Deputy Head (Nursery - L3) Claire Proudfoot, said, "This year, we have focused on the Nativity, an epic telling of the Christmas story with strong visual and emotional impact.

"The story celebrates selflessness and the true meaning of Christmas. As with all our festive events, this year has been different from usual, however we have had a wonderful time together and we are looking forward to watching our performances on the last day of term."
