Salacaso Soaps aiming to clean up for charity

F4 pupils Carys, Lauren, Sarah and Sophia are getting ready to sell their own organic, ethically produced soaps to raise money for Children 1st through the Dragons Glen business challenge.

The quartet had to submit a business plan and pitch for their venture – Salacaso Soaps - to the organisers of the challenge and having subsequently received £50 of seed capital, they now have 8 weeks to turn that into a £500 profit for Children 1st.

The group, whose inspiration for their handmade product came from handwashing during the pandemic, and from their own personal interests, will begin selling Salacaso soap at school shortly.

Good luck girls!
