The boys will face George Watson's College in the title decider at the national stadium after defeating Fettes in a thrilling semi-final in Edinburgh yesterday.

Urged on by an enthusiastic travelling support, the team ran in five tries on the way to an impressive 29-12 win which earns the School its first-ever appearance in the U16 age group final.

Christy O’Donnell, who along with Colin Sangster coaches the team, said, “The boys are over the moon.

“Every training session has been about working towards this goal and it’s a fantastic achievement by the guys to get to the final.”

The final, which will be played on Murrayfield’s international pitch, takes place at 6pm on Wednesday 5 December.
