Pupils stage charity sports matches
16th October 2020
Well done to our F5 and F6 pupils who last week used their Games time to raise money for a very good cause.
On Friday, the pupils paid to take part in or watch girls vs boys hockey matches and mixed boys and girls touch rugby games, with the funds collected going to the children’s charity, Carolina House Trust.
The School’s Charities and Community Outreach Coordinator, Karlene Douglas, said, “From the smiling faces it’s clear everyone had a great time, despite the hails stones, and we raised £200 for the Carolina House Trust which supports children and young people in Foster Care, Residential Care and Supported Lodgings.
“Huge thanks to Mr Jack and the PE department for co-ordinating the event.”
