Pupil's festive design wins RSC Christmas card contest

A High School of Dundee pupil’s fabyuleous design has won the Royal Society of Chemistry’s (RSC) Christmas card competition.

Ksenia Kapelyukh won the RSC Christmas Card design contest

Ksenia Kapelyukh, F4, has been named as the winner of the RSC’s nationwide festive contest, and as a result, her colourful composition is now on the front of the organisation’s official Seasons Greetings card.

The competition was open to all and entrants were challenged to submit a design based on, and celebrating, the International Year of the Periodic Table.

Gemma Wood, Manager Special Projects at the RSC, said, “The Royal Society of Chemistry was delighted with the level of engagement with the corporate Christmas card competition.

“The winning design really captured the true spirit of IYPT. Congratulations on a brilliant design from Ksenia.”
