Pupils bound into next stage of UK Maths contest
16th June 2021
Well done to a group of talented F1 and F2 HSD mathematicians who have a spring in their step after qualifying for the next round of a major UK competition.
Courtesy of some impressive results in the UKMT Junior Mathematical Challenge which they sat in class, Emily Coulson, Simone Finlayson, Landon Franklin, Emily Macdonald, Catriona Skea, Fin Gray, Samuel McGill, Nhat Nguyen and John Nicolle have bounded into the follow-on contest, the Junior Kangaroo.
In addition, congratulations to Scott Xu who is one of only 2,000 pupils from across the UK to be invited to take part in the Junior Mathematical Olympiad.
