24 pupils from L6 to F2 attended a Benedetti Sessions workshop at Eastern Primary School, joining 130 other musicians from Dundee schools for an inspiring day led by the Benedetti Foundation tutors.

There was fun and laughter aplenty as the young musical maestros interacted with each other whilst taking part in rhythm and posture games and rehearsing two specially written pieces. The day ended with an impressive play-through of ‘Amities’ and ‘Thorntree Thunder’.

Joanna Petrie, teacher of violin/viola, said, “The pupils really enjoyed the day and learnt a lot about all the details we can include in our playing to make it come to life. Thank you very much to the Benedetti Foundation for a super workshop!”
