Inspired by a desire to share ideas for adapting to learning from home and supporting pupil well-being, the team has created a Home Learning and Wellbeing blog in Firefly.

Each week the group is sharing top tips for home learning, ideas to support positive physical and mental wellbeing, as well as some suggestions for activities which pupils can try at home to keep busy away from home learning.

The Pupil Voice reps have decided on what the key focus areas should be and are actively collecting together the ideas which feature in each post. Pupils throughout the Junior Years can get involved by sending their own tips to their year group rep.

Pupil Voice Co-ordinator, and L6 teacher, Lisa Carrie, said, “The Pupil Voice members felt that a focus on sharing ideas and advice about learning from home and wellbeing was something that was important for our Junior Years pupils.

“The team meets online fortnightly and they have gathered together lots of tips and ideas which they are keen to share with their peers.”

HSD pupils can find the blog in the Pupil Voice section of Firefly.

What a fantastic example of the HSD community looking out for each other in these challenging times! Well done to everyone who has contributed!
