New edition of School publication a must-read for literary lovers!

Work of School’s talented writers showcased in Kwyll

If you’re a fan of fantastic fiction, prodigious poetry and excellent essays, pupils at the High School of Dundee have produced a publication which is write up your street.

The latest edition of The Kwyll, the English department’s collection of some of the best writing penned by pupils in class and at home in the past year, is out now.

Featuring compositions by pupils from F1 to F6, including a number which were competition winning, the cracking compendium covers a huge range of topics, ensuring an eclectically entertaining read for all.

Teacher of English, Jane Fulton, who edited the collection, said “It was a pleasure to read, select and edit the huge amount of outstanding pieces that were submitted for edition 13 of The Kwyll. 

“The publication is a great example of the breadth and variety of writing that is being produced by our pupils at The High School of Dundee and I hope everyone enjoys reading them.”
