On Saturday, the boys brought the curtain down on their primary school playing days in style by winning the Lathallan 7s tournament, courtesy of an impressive 100% record that saw them defeat Carnoustie, Robert Gordon’s, Montrose and then, in the final, Mackie RFC.

And along with the joy of the School retaining the title which it had also lifted 12 months previously, there was a double celebration for Josh Gordon, who was named Player of the Tournament.

Coach Phil Godman said, “The L7 boys had a great day on Saturday. They won the tournament but more importantly showed fantastic camaraderie and sportsmanship and a great attitude throughout the day.

“It’s a terrific achievement for the School to win the championship two years in a row.”
