FP Performs duty at royal funeral

We were extremely proud to see one of our former pupils playing a part in the funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II.
Max Strachan, class of 2018, joined the Scots Guards when he left school. Having been awarded the honour of Top Recruit, he passed out in October 2021, going on to be deployed to F Company, based at Wellington Barracks in London.
Max, who was in the School’s Combined Cadet Force, took part in the Trooping the Colour ceremony in June as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, as well as the Queen’s funeral.
Max said, “It was an incredible honour to be part of the Queen's funeral procession; it’s an occasion I'll never forget.”
