Downhill all the way to the top for mountain biker

Archie Gilmour (F5) recently took 3rd place in the Youth race at the Scottish Cycling National Downhill Championships at Glencoe.

The podium placing capped a fine season for Archie in the exhilarating Scottish and British Downhill Mountain Biking Series, in which he competes regularly against up to 40 fellow cyclists.

And his form in the Series over the past four years has been rewarded this year with selection – along with only a handful of other riders in the country - for the Scottish Cycling Downhill Squad, through which he receives coaching.
