Co-curricular Fair

Trinity Hall was alive with excitement as this year’s Co-Curricular Fair got underway, giving pupils in the Senior Years the chance to sign up for a range of exciting activities to enjoy outside of their timetabled lessons.

Co-curricular Fair

Taking place in one hall like a university Freshers Fair, the event allowed pupils to chat to the teachers and peers who run the clubs to find out more, and – in some cases, like the Chess Club – even get a taste of the action!

There was something for everyone, from CCF to boardgames, from debating to outdoor education, and even a machine knitting club! Not to mention sports and music opportunities!

The HSD pipes and drums showcased what they are all about as the pupils browsed the stalls and weighed up the tough choice of what to sign up for.

Deputy Head David Brett said, “The SY co-curricular fair was a huge success. The vibrant atmosphere created by such enthusiastic staff and pupils was great to see and hear.

"From our Pipe Band drummers demonstrating their superlative skills to grandmaster Middleton taking on all-comers at chess, there was something for everyone.

"Now with pupils signed up for multiple clubs, we will fine-tune the co-curricular timetable and we can't wait to see pupils diving into their chosen clubs!”
