Children in Need/House Colours Day

Pupils across the HSD community took part in a House Charity Day, raising funds for some excellent causes!

Children in Need/House Colours Day

The corridors were awash with colour as pupils came to school in reds, blues, whites, and yellows (or is it gold, Lindores?!) to represent their house.

The Junior Years pupils raised money for Children in Need, while, as part of its work for Anti-bullying Week, the Senior School raised money for the Scottish Association for Mental Health.

Pupils in the Junior School enjoyed a series of special activities throughout the day. L1-3 enjoyed House Games, while L4-7 played a ‘House Drive’ (a fun twist on the classic Beetle Drive), competed against each other in a ‘House Colour Quiz’, and designed an outfit for Pudsey Bear.

Senior Years pupils also got in on the action by wearing their house colours for Feel Good Friday, as well as taking snaps for the best house group photograph competition!

House fun all round! Well done everyone!
