Appeal for bedding for Ukrainian refugees

A huge thank you to everyone who has so kindly contributed to the School’s appeal for bedding for refugees who have fled Ukraine.
In support of an appeal by EastHORN Clinical Services for beds and mattresses which will be delivered directly to Ukrainian refugees in Poland, HSD appealed for donations of new, single bedding.
We were overwhelmed by the response from parents, staff and pupils from across the School and Nursery, which resulted in a van-full of donations being driven to Strathallan School this morning.
From there, along with the beds and mattresses, the bedding was loaded on to a lorry which is being driven direct to Warsaw. We are very proud that the lorry and driver for the delivery are being provided by Courtenay Morison of Clockwork Removals, who is a former pupil of the High School of Dundee.
