Alumni Take Trip Down Memory Lane At Annual FP Reunion

On Saturday 15th June, over 100 former pupils from various Class Years flocked back to the High School of Dundee for the annual FP Reunion event.

Alumni of all ages embarked on a wonderful trip down memory lane by looking through old magazines, photographs and report cards sourced from the school's archives at the morning reception - the perfect opportunity to reunite with fellow former classmates as well as forging connections with new friends!

There was an excitable buzz about the air as everyone headed off on their guided tours of the school, expertly led by current members of staff including Mrs Lise Hudson and Mrs Irene McGrath, as well as some of our current F6 pupils. Guests were showed round all areas of the school, allowing everyone to see just how much the school has grown and evolved since they waved goodbye to the Pillars.

A Pillars photograph finish rounded off the tours and paved the way for a traditional lunch of Fish and Chips in the school's Dining Hall, which was accompanied with beer and wine from local bar and restaurant, St Andrews Brewing Company. Over lunch, many happy memories were shared and recollected, friendships and Class Years brought back together and a misdemeanour or two recounted!

Further to this, guests also had the opportunity to purchase items from the school's retail line, with our House Coloured Ducks proving by far the most popular item.

It was lovely to be able to welcome such a large number of alumni back to the school and we're already getting very excited for 2020's FP Reunion.

We are in the process of deciding a date for next year, however, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our Development Office to register your interest early. You can do so via e-mail at or by telephone on 01382 202 921.

To everyone who attended this year's Reunion, thank you so much for joining us for what we hope was a truly fantastic day. If you'd like to view the photographs, you can do so here:
