Pupils and staff throughout the Nursery, Junior Years and Senior Years have today been raising money for the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal with a dress down day.

Some members of the school community chose to wear blue and yellow to show their solidarity with the people of Ukraine, and in total the day raised almost £3,300 for the appeal. Well done to everyone for their support of this vital campaign.

In support of an appeal for beds and mattresses by EastHORN Clinical Services, which will be delivered directly to Ukrainian refugees in Poland, HSD is also appealing for donations of new, single bedding. We are very proud that the lorry and driver for the delivery to Poland are being provided by Courtenay Morison of Clockwork Removals who is a former pupil of the High School of Dundee.

Members of the HSD community, if you’d like to make a donation of bedding, please drop it off to Miss Douglas by 9am on Friday 11th March. It will then be taken to Strathallan School for delivery to Poland.
