Junior & Senior Years
Although the school will be closed to visitors from 20th March 2020 as part of the nationwide response to Coronavirus, we are still accepting applications for August 2020 onwards and would be delighted to answer any questions you might have.
Our admissions team Mrs Alex McGrory (left) and Mrs Sarah Grimes (right) would love to hear from you. They will be working remotely and can be contacted between 9am and 4.30pm on weekdays via email@example.com
An ideal opportunity to visit
Tours of the school can be arranged at any time during term time. Please contact our Admissions Co-ordinator, Mrs Sarah Grimes on 01382 202921 if you would like to arrange an individual tour.
Open Morning however is an ideal opportunity to visit the School.
Our annual Open Morning takes place on a Saturday during September. The 2019 even took place on 21st September. Don't forget though, if you missed this year's event, we'd be delighted to welcome you for a tour of the school on another day.
What happens at Open Morning?
Following a brief overview of the School, your family will be paired with one of our pupils who will take you on a tour of the classrooms and facilities, with the chance to experience activities, displays and exhibits in every department. There will be lots of opportunities to talk to staff and pupils and to ask them questions about life at the High School.
At the end of your tour, we invite you to enjoy refreshments and tasty snacks in our Taster Cafe, where staff will also be on hand to answer any remaining questions that you may have about everything from pastoral care to our High Performance Sport Programme.
Bursary support towards places at the School may be available and early applications are always advised. Our Bursar is on hand during Open Morning to answer any queries you may have. For more information about Financial Assistance at the High School of Dundee please click here.
Please allow two to three hours for your visit to Open Morning.
Parking and crèche facilities available
Children are very welcome to attend and we operate a crèche on the day. Visitors may park in the school playground, although you are advised to arrive in good time if you wish to be sure of a space. Overspill parking is available at the nearby Bell Street Car Park which is located behind the School.
Please note that parts of the tour route are unsuitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs. Those with limited mobility should contact us in advance for advice.
On arrival, those who have not preregistered will be asked to complete a short registration form. You can save time by registering in advance using our online form which is available on the website in the run up to the event.
If you have any questions regarding Open Morning, please contact Mrs Grimes on 01382 202921, email firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to seeing you there!
