Our Nursery welcomes children aged 3-5, with a range of sessions available. Pupils complete seven years of schooling in the Junior Years, and a further six years in the Senior Years, following the Scottish primary and secondary education structure.  In our Junior Years, year groups are referred to as Lower 1-7.  In the Senior Years, year groups are referred to as Form 1-6.

The Nursery and the Junior School are closely linked, as are the Junior and Senior Schools, with many Senior Years teachers working with Junior pupils on a regular basis.  Transition to the Senior School begins in the upper years of the Junior School, as pupils are steadily introduced to new elements of the curriculum, including Home Economics and Modern Languages.  Junior pupils in L6 and L7 will increasingly spend more time within the Senior School buildings, and work more closely with Senior School teachers, to make the move to the Senior Years as easy as possible.
