Netball club
The High School runs a regular Netball club for pupils in F1 - F3.
Weekly practices, held every Thursday, 4:30 – 5:30pm at Mayfield, are very well attended by F1, 2 and 3 pupils. The main focus of these sessions is to develop skills and awareness of game play, in preparation for regular friendly fixtures against local schools, such as Lathallan, Madras College and Strathallan.
All girls enjoy the regular tournaments throughout season, including the house competitions, Christmas games and the end of season festival. Entry into the Schools Scottish Cup has given the team players experience of a true competitive netball. In 2011, both High School teams achieved silver in the competition, and club members continue to strive for success.
