F5 Young Apprentices Sell Out for Charity

Following the success of the first F4 Enterprise Challenge last session, this year's F5 Enterprise lesson has proved a very popular choice.  Three social enterprise companies have been formed and given their first challenge – ‘Your company will be running a stall at the Christmas Charities Fair so come up with the best product to raise funds for your chosen charity’.

The groups worked through a variety of obstacles and learnt about some of the highs and lows of company life in getting products ready on time.  Most of their goods were beautifully hand-made and were so well received that two companies sold out completely before the end of the Fair.  The top fundraising company was DHS - Door Hanging Signs but it was a great effort from all three groups and they raised over £350 for Dundee Disabled Childrens’ Association, DEFRA and Help for Heroes.

Well done to all three teams.
